Members convert their cars into Commonwheels cars, we take on the costs and hassle of maintaining the car and in return, the member gets free use of the car. Who are we?
Commonwheels is a unique company offering local car clubs. We're a Community Interest Company, which means we are motivated by environmental and social goals rather than money. Our members therefore know that they are paying the true cost of driving our cars.
Commonwheels also raises money to develop car clubs through 'ethical investments' from individuals. As a Community Interest Company, most of our profit goes straight back into the company, but a proportion can be used to pay people who invest a small return in recognition of their support.
