Why Social Enterprise?
Social enterprises primarily focus on the positive environmental and social impacts of what they do. So for Commonwheels, being a social enterprise was a no-brainer! We are a business, so we need to generate revenue to cover our cost or we wouldn’t be sustainable. But profits we make can go straight back into developing car clubs, rather than into our back pockets, or those of a city investor.
Commonwheels has been awarded the Social Enterprise mark, demonstrating our commitment to this way of doing business.
